So needless to say the second I got home I had to try out my new mountain board! What better place than my drive way. So board in hand and like a teenage boy I race out and take my first run – SUCCESS! Now let’s take a second stab at this – success again sweet! But wait! The neighbor across the street now sees me and she asks “what is that? Did you make that” being the polite person I try to be I start to dismount my board and before I can see what I was doing wrong gravity takes effect while my ego takes a hit – I come out untouched except with the sounds of my laughter. It was a classic moment! There I was on the floor left foot still in the bindings and my right shoe MIA. If I was married and so forth I would feel embarrassed but being 36 and having a kid… I was living it up!
